Aprilia Testing/Prgramming???

Hi again. Well I am still having problems registering my RSV1000. In Germany it is almost impossible but I have now found a private TUV company out of Southern Germany who will likely approve the bike. None of the other main TUV companies will try it though.

They are asking me for papers that confirm that the RSV1000 from the US is computer programmed the same as the EU version of the bike. I think this is the last step and then it is ok.

Do you guys know of some local Aprilia dealers who have the machine to program/tune/read all of the computer info on the bike?? The closest to Arendal would be the best. Thanks, Allen

Im not sure if they still are the importer but it's worth a try.

Yes I already tried Loxkel before. They are not helpful. I was looking more for just a smaller dealer locally who has the Aprilia computer machine. Thanks though

I think Askim MC is an Aprilia dealer, but I'm not sure and it's quite far away from you.
If I were you I would call around to a lot of motorcycle dealers, maybe someone can help you

Well Stavanger is pretty, pretty far away from Arendal. I've checked the aprilia dealers on the webpage, and there is one in Arendal, called "Sørlandets MC Senter", the adress is "Blødekjær 11, 4838 Arendal". Good luck mate, i hope they can help you Keep updating us!

Yes, it is. But there is a bigger chance that the dealer in Stavanger has the computer that is needed. It is the largest motorcycle store and workshop in Norway, and they also deal with Aprilia. If they don't got the software needed, I'll get disappointed.

Worth a try if no one else around has it.

I have some of the mechanics as friend on facebook. I could ask them for you if you want?

If i remember right, my driving instructor said that the workshop in Larvik got all the tools needed to program the bigger bikes by Aprilia.
It's worth a try, its not that far from Arendal.

It's sad to say, but Norway is one of the worst country when it comes down to things like this.

Hope you get it fixed soon, we need more aprilia bikes on the road!

Well apparently no dealer is capable of testing or documenting computer parameters on the RSV other than Loxkel and apparently they don't do testing but only documentation. What a f nightmare. Its almost impossible to get anything done in this place. Please don't take offense , I'm not complaining about you guys country but dam things are difficult here.
Regulation and control every direction you turn. It must take an entire forest of trees from another country just to make all the documentation in this country.

I totally agree, is hopeless the way things are controlled these days.. So many laws and shit making it nearly impossible to get any customization done to your bike or car here.. Especially registration, you need documents for everything-.-

I have found out from Loxkel that the only 2 dealers in Norway with the Aprilia computer are Motorport Drammen and Bikerstreet in Stavanger. For some reason Biker Street told me that they do not have this??? Motorport Drammen says they will test the bike.
The name of the computer is the" Navigator " system.

He's not an apprentice there, he's just deployed there sometimes in realtion to school.
